What You’ll Need:

  • 5 yards of Soft tulle (or your preferred veil fabric)
  • Fabric scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • 2 small metal hair combs
  • Optional embellishments (lace, pearls, or beads for added flair)

Steps at a Glance:

  1. Measure & Cut Your Fabric – Decide the length you want for your veil and cut the fabric accordingly. You will need about 20 inches more than you measure for (this is for the "gathered" section of the cap.
  2. Gather & Sew – Create gentle pleats at the top of the veil and sew them securely. The pleats will be about 20 inches in length, and gathered to about 4 inches in width.
  3. Attach to Headband – Secure the veil to a headband or ribbon for that iconic Juliet cap style. You can also attach to small petite hair combs.
